2016 Night At The Mission Poster

A Night At The Mission

Several of Cal Poly’s finest student music ensembles performed traditional and contemporary chamber music at 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, in the Old Mission Church in San Luis Obispo.

“A Night at the Mission” featured performances by a string quartet, two saxophone quartets, clarinet ensemble, trumpet ensemble, brass choir, brass quintet and woodwind quintet. This annual event has long been a favorite of student performers and audiences alike.

The concert was free and open to the public; no tickets or advanced reservations were required.

The concert was sponsored by the Cal Poly College of Liberal Arts, Music Department, and Instructionally Related Activities program. For more information, call the Music Department at 805-756-2406.
